Writing Your Content for Website Flipping

By Terri Tutten

If you are currently in the market of flipping websites and have not put a great deal of thought into the content on your site, you may be making an extremely costly mistake. For many reasons, the content on your site really does matter.. First of all it gives visitors to your site their first impression of your business and the products and services you offer. Additionally, well written content can be instrumental in selling your products and services to your potential customers.

Finally, the content on your site can influence the size of the target audience you are able to reach by helping to improve your search engine rankings. With your content capable of doing so much, outsourcing our work to a great copywriter can make a big difference. This article will delve deeper into the importance of providing accurate, concise and informative content on your website when you are flopping websites.

One of the most basic reasons why the quality of the content on your website is so important is because visitors to your website will likely form their initial opinions of your website based on the content. If the copy is poorly written, does not hold the visitors attention and does not promote your products and services well visitors are likely to exit your website without making a purchase. Conversely, if the copy on your site is well written, engages the reader and promotes the products and services you offer the visitor is more likely to investigate the website further to learn more about the products and services and may make a purchase.

Well written sales copy can also be very persuasive and may compel visitors to the website to purchase the website itself, if you're a site flipper. This is important especially if the main purpose of the website is to sell the website itself. The sales copy should accurately describe the products or services offered, stress the importance of these products and services and compel the visitor to make a purchase. All of this should be done without appearing to be blatantly advertising the products and services. Writing this type of copy can be quite complicated and typically requires hiring a sales copywriter who is experienced and skilled at writing this type of persuasive and informative copy. Sales copy written by an amateur or a novice writer will not likely be as effective as copy written by a professional with a great deal of experience in Internet marketing.

Finally the content on your site is very important because it can greatly influence your search engine rankings. This is critical because high search engine rankings help your business to reach a considerably larger audience. Readers want to immediately find what they're searching for. Search engines understand this profile and write complicated algorithms which help them to supply the most relevant websites when a user searches for a particular keyword phrase or words.

This is important to business owners because Internet users realize the value of search engines and are likely to only visit websites which rank well in the search engines. This includes websites which rank on the first page or two of search results. Your business might sell football jerseys and you may have a well designed website, a superior inventory and excellent prices but if your site does not rank well in search engines you are missing out on a great deal of free advertising. If your website lands on the third page or lower most visitors who search for relevant terms will not likely visit your site because they will have found what they were looking for on earlier pages. This is where the content on your website becomes important. Websites containing content which has been optimized for particular keywords will likely rank well with search engines. Hiring a writer skilled in writing optimized content can help to improve your search engine rankings so you can reach more potential customers.

The Truth About Instant Article Wizard

By Joshua Fowlkes

Individuals engaged in internet marketing know that there is no other way to generate traffic than to write articles that contain useful information.

However, article writing isn't as simple as it sounds.

Especially when you are trying to promote something, it takes a lot of research for you to write about something you absolutely have no idea about.

And this can be very tedious, time consuming and not to mention boring. You can opt to have somebody write the contents for you but can considerably cut your profits.

So the dilemma now is how to get those articles done. There are a lot of programs that claim to write or rewrite articles using the specific keywords that you want to be used. But more often than not, these articles are only good enough to be read by engines and not by people.

A software that differs from the others is the instant article wizard because it can help you make articles that a human person can actually understand and enjoy reading.

What makes this software different from the others is that it can combine the needed research as well as the actual writing of the article to help save time.

The process of writing articles with the instant article wizard starts with the keyword that you need to include in the article. The program will then search the internet for any related ideas.

It can effectively search for text that is keyword rich so that you get well written articles from the introductions to the concluding paragraphs.

A quality article that you produce can gain traffic for years to come which is why a lot of online promoters release articles in a daily basis to be submitted in article directories or posted in blogs.

Writing these articles manually will take a lot of time, which is having a program do it for you can be really convenient.

Features of Powerful Auto Blogging Tools

By Kim Rich

With more and more auto blogging tools appearing on the market, you might see yourself at a loss when it comes time to selecting one in particular. Before you go any further and make any selections - it is going to be worth your while to know a little about the features of some of the more powerful auto blogging tools around!

Needless to say, all auto blogging tools are designed to source content for a blog. Some of the initial auto blogging tools did so very haphazardly and very often you would see cases where the content that was sourced looked as though it was simply copied and pasted directly with all the links intact. As time has passed, that was one of the first mistakes that was fixed and nowadays the more powerful auto blogging tools are able to post complete posts without some of the tiresome trimmings that used to be included such as links, advertisements, and so on.

In short, you can expect to just source the content - and nothing else.

Some powerful auto blogging tools are able to even preserve videos and pictures. Many will transfer pictures so that they are hosted on your own website rather than their original location and thus the post will appear more genuinely original. Other efforts are also very often incorporated to make automated content look original - and some tools actually rewrite portions of the text on autopilot so that they do not seem to be duplicated content.

Almost all powerful auto blogging tools now come with a variety of options including the ability to schedule blog posts for particular times. This is necessary, as it will permit you to time your blog posts and perhaps even permit you to quickly review the content to check that it is going to be up to par in terms of quality.

Although some auto blogging tools will go through renowned RSS feeds for content, for premium results it is still prudent to not count on such searches but rather to preset particular RSS feeds that you know are of a high enough quality for your blog. Still, having that feature could ensure that if you ever run dry of content - there is an alternative present.

Most powerful auto blogging tools tend to be rather expensive, but they are certainly worth their weight in gold. By providing you with all these features (and more!) you will find that it is an investment worth making and powerful auto blogging tools should permit you to tap into the full potential of automating your blogging activities in the way that their free counterparts do not.

Of course if money is an issue, then you may have no choice but to search some other alternative until the opportunity presents itself.

What Are The Advantages of SEO Compared To PPC?

By Adrian Ang

Considering the current rise of pay per click (PPC) advertising services such as Yahoo Search Marketing, Google and Microsoft adCenter, professional search engine optimization (SEO) companies are having to deal more and more with the concern of why their clients need to invest funds on traditional SEO when they could simply spend money on PPC and see instant results in the search engines.

Traditional Search Engine Optimization

First I will define what traditional SEO is. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of visitors to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. In straightforward terms, SEO is the basic activity of making certain a webpage can be located in search engines for specific words and phrases

Pay Per Click

Now I will define what PPC is using Google Adwords as an example. PPC or pay per click is a service in which an advertiser selects specific keywords or phrases and then creates a listing that will show up when someone searches for that phrase. The advertiser selects an amount they are willing to pay for each click on their listing which results in a visit to their site - thus the term "pay per click". At Google Adwords, you can bid anywhere from $.10 up to $50.00 for each click.

If other advertisers have selected the same keyword or phrase as yours, you then are competing against them for the highest position. Whoever is willing to expend the most shows up first and the others following in order. What PPC has granted one to do then is to quickly "pay" their way to the top whereas conventional SEO takes a lot of time and effort.

The overriding question then is how important is PPC and should it replace standard search engine optimization techniques?

Pros and Cons of Pay Per Click

First of all you must realize that PPC will never help improve your positioning in the typical search results. PPC listings most always appear in a "Sponsored or Featured" area which is usually at the top or side of the regular search results. While it really is nice to "show up first", however recent studies by Comscore shows that clicks on paid search results has gone down over time, and is now ~22%. That means 3 out of 4 individuals will trust the results in the natural listing in contrast to the results in the PPC listing, and will click on the organic results - which are attributed to SEO.

Pay per click will not optimize your web page so that it reflects who you are and what you offer. If your web site is poorly optimized before you begin to advertise it with PPC, it will still be poorly optimized afterwards. Additionally, the cost per click (CPC) is dependent on the 'quality score' of your web page. If it's not correctly optimized for the search engines utilizing SEO, you will continually be paying more for your PPC ads compared to your competitors who have integrated SEO with their PPC advertising and marketing campaigns.

On the other hand, a well executed SEO plan will enhance your position inside organic search results. You will have a finely tuned website that reflects who you are and what you provide. One specific client in the dry cleaning business was averaging 8% of their new client acquisitions from their website. They utilized a conventional SEO campaign targeting 7 keyword phrases and are now seeing 83% of new client acquisitions come directly from their web page. They have been maintaining this campaign for a period of 6 months now at a cost of only $100 per month, in contrast to the $1000 per month they were previously spending on PPC advertising.

Another downfall to PPC is that when you stop paying for PPC advertising, your listings disappears and so does the traffic they bring. With the recent move by many PPC search engines to raise their minimum bid requirements, the prices for keywords are only going to increase over time as more advertisers join the market, bid higher prices for each keyword and fight for the important #1 position in the paid search listing results. With PPC advertising, it's a bidding war that favors advertisers with bigger budgets.

In most cases, once you have great positioning in the regular search results via SEO, you will continually receive free targeted traffic. It may require some minor adjustments from time to time but all in all brings in constant free visitors so long as people are searching for your products or services. You aren't held hostage to having to constantly throw money at search engines to maintain your listings.

SEO has to be the foundation of your online marketing strategy simply because in the long run, the rewards of SEO will far outweigh anything else you do.

Drawbacks to Work At Home

Working at home is one of the fastest growing trends in careers today. However, many people jump on the WAHM bandwagon without considering all of the drawbacks to working at home. While some people are naturally inclined to work at home, others find the transition more difficult to make. There are many benefits to working at home, but the drawbacks need to be considered before you make the choice.

The first drawback to looking for a work at home career is that your current career may not easily transfer to a work at home situation. If you work in the medical field or are a police officer, being a WAHM might not be an easy transition unless you are willing to change careers entirely. Sales and administrative positions transfer well, as do creative jobs like design and writing. For those in jobs that can’t make the work at home switch, you’ll have to think carefully about what you want to do when start working at home and start investigating that field.

Cost is another important factor in deciding if working at home is right for you. Although many mothers start working at home to save on childcare, there are added costs to being a WAHM. If you need health insurance, it will have to come out of your pocket instead of being paid by your employers. There are also many taxes that you will have to pay. Your record keeping must be excellent in order to keep track of your income and expenses, and to fill out your income tax return at the end of the year.

Working at home with children is not always as easy as it seems. If you have young children that aren’t in school yet, it may be difficult to work when they are awake. This can mean lots of busy naptimes and late nights to get your projects done when they are sleeping. Family members can help take care of your children from time to time, but the responsibility of both your children and your job will be firmly in your hands. With older children, it is sometimes easier to work from home. But you will still have to start and maintain a fairly balanced schedule in order to get everything done.

WAHMs have to be very self-motivated and disciplined in order to get their work done on time and correctly. If you are the type of person that is motivated by outside factors (such as a supervisor), then working at home may not be your cup of tea. When you work at home, there is no one there to look over your shoulder and make sure that you are still working. Distractions like the television, Internet and housework can be hindrances to your work at home success.

Isolation is another problem for WAHMs. Working at home alone can get frustrating and lonely. Make sure you are comfortable with spending time alone, and that you take steps to combat isolation. If you are especially prone to being depressed, then the isolation that comes with working at home may make you feel withdrawn and sad. Taking steps to combat loneliness is an important part of any WAHM’s success.

After considering these factors, you may decide that working at home is not right for you. However, thousands of people deal with these drawbacks and still have successful work at home careers. These reasons should not stop you from becoming a WAHM if that is really what you want to do. Just make sure you understand the realities of the work at home lifestyle before you commit to it.

Blogging Journalism..Here It Comes

One of the most exciting aspects of blogging as it develops in sophistication is the element of journalism. More accurately, this kind of blogging is real time, as-it-happens type reporting. Back in 2005, the reports of subway terrorism was first available via several blogs, some with pictures, created by evacuated passengers.

The obvious questions we all should assess in this kind of blogging are, will this become part of the mainstream news, and further, should it become an integral part? The speed of data being available is far superior to traditional news outlets, because there is no editing process to go thru. That’s the good news. The accuracy of the data, that’s another thing. Without any checks and balances on the content, we will have to be very careful to find substantive data from other sources to corroborate these stories.

Whether you like it or hate it, the potential for on the spot news, potentially generated from your own friends and neighbors is pretty exciting. It seems to me that this may just provide some huge opportunities for startup news companies that just might rival the old dinosaurs of the industry. The downside is that some people are sure to use this media to claim their 30 seconds of fame by documenting their own unlawful or heinous acts.

I can remember that traffic reports started by having live helicopter reports. Later, TV stations provided access numbers so that everyday travelers could call and update the current traffic from many different vantage points in our big cities. This concept of blogging journalism isn’t much different.

There is a huge opportunity here from enterprising, technically savvy individuals. What keeps Joe’s Blog from being the leading source of everything on the PGA Tour, for example? To start it rolling, Joe would have to get a relationship with a few insiders, and whamo, a new golf network is formed. I can see an endless supply of niche blogging journalism sites that would collectively steal the news from Fox, NBC, CBS and the like. Rather than Fox covering all the news, you would have the opportunity to select your news based on niches that you wanted to see.

This subject is in its infancy. Hardware technology (cameras, video, audio, wireless access) all make the aspect of collecting “field data” easy and fast. Software for blogging is outrageously easy, and free in many cases. Blogger, Google’s blog infrastructure, allows for multiple accounts, and multiple blogs within those accounts, all Free! And self-hosted WordPress blogs are easily setup in a few hours, and you pay only the domain name and the hosting fees. WordPress is also free. And it is one amazing tool!

Love it or hate it, it’s up to you. But it is on the way.

Quick Blogging Tips For Mom

Here are some quick tips to make some money by blogging at home. This is not meant to be the start and end points. It is merely the starting point.

We’ll expand on this subject in the upcoming days and weeks.

(1) Build your readership. Join blogging communities. Send a link to your articles to all your friends, family, neighbors and acquaintances.

(2) Build traffic to your blog. “Web traffic” means getting internet users to feature your journal and come back to your blog. Increased “traffic” means more readers are seeing and appreciating your blog.

(3) Build traffic to your blogs by mom by posting entries on a regular basis; preferably every day, but at least once a week.

(4) Increase traffic to your blogs by mom by commenting on other blogs that you find to be informative and educational. Mothers and bloggers who visit other blogs will see your comments and discover your passions about the subject, and hopefully visit your blog, too.

(5) If you are a member of a “forum,” like an internet discussion group focused on a primary theme or topic, such as parenting or blogging at home, place a link to your blogs by mom in your comments or posts on the forum.
